The work done in the direction of corruption prevention and the upcoming tasks were discussed with the participation of partner institutions

From October 7 to 9, 2022, during the external working discussion organized in Tsaghkadzor, the works carried out in the direction of corruption prevention in the current year were presented, as well as the things to be done until the end of the year and next year were outlined.
The workshop was organized with the participation of representatives of the Corruption Prevention Commission and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia at the initiative of the USAID Armenia Integrity Project.
During the working discussion, the representatives of the RA Ministry of Justice presented details about the implementation of the RA Anti-Corruption Strategy for 2019-2022 and the strategic directions for 2023-2025, which are still in the design stage.
The employees of the Corruption Prevention Commission referred to the mechanisms of transparency of property, income and interests of public officials and the effectiveness and existing obstacles of the system of studying the integrity of persons holding certain positions, and also presented the implementation process and upcoming tasks of educational and public awareness programs aimed at administration and corruption prevention.
The representatives of the USAID Armenia Integrity Project presented the need of certain legal regulations in this direction, and through such discussions, emphasized the more active cooperation of the two structures both with each other and with the Project.
